Kona has it all from tree to cup, from small family farms to large estates, and from hard working pickers to established cafe‘s. Coffee is harvested annually, some places start as early as July and finish as late as January, but the bulk of Kona's harvest takes place September through December. We are the only state within the USA producing coffee commercially.

The rich robust aroma, and smooth savory flavor of Kona Coffee is what sets it aside from all other coffees. Kona is located on the leeward side of the Big Island of Hawaii. The natural elements of rich volcanic soil, gentle rains, and afternoon cloud cover provide perfect growing conditions. The first commercial coffee trees were planted in the uplands of Kona in the 1840s, and have since become a part of the lifestyle and economy. Only coffee that is grown on the North and South districts of Kona can truly be called "Kona Coffee".
